How important is it? Can I move it forward? Can I eliminate it? I got the seats mocked up in the Tahiti and the damn bulkhead is about 2' too close for my long ass legs Needless to say, I'm beyond frustrated with this thing    Anybody got a mini daycruiser they want to trade? 

That bulkhead is new to and fits really well. I doubt it would hurt to much to take it out. That hull and deck are a solid, heavy layup for sure.

After thinking about it for a bit I came to the conclusion that it's got to move forward, there's just no way around it.  I got out the trusty sawzall and made a window cut, cut a bit more, then it hit me, I can leave the outer edges of the bulkhead in place and just gut the center of it, it's still structurally sound and it served my purpose of more leg room. Any thoughts on this? I'll be glassing over all the rough edges this week, and addding an extension to the floor.

That kills any legroom for the backseat, I think this setup will work, I had the wife put some wieght on the deck and it didn't flex any, I'm going to add some braces from the stringers up to the deck just to be sure.

My Bahner had a removable upolstered bulkhead. It is not going back in. The deck has a center support running the lenght of the deck. I'm not too worried about it.
