I'd it's the video I'm thinking of, no.... Jamie was making a pass in from of the avi at about 8am. Some jerkoff on a seadoo made a turn right in front of him without even looking over his shoulder.

Sadly, there are plans to make the area in front of the avi all a no wake zone due to too many wave runners and jet ski accidents.

The jet skis are a major problem most don't have any experience and are not even of age to operate them  the guy that cutt me off is lucky I was paying attention and there was some old dude letting his 10 year old drive and kept trolling around where people were attempting to make passes

Jet skis were really bad this weekend. Saw a bunch of them being operated by very young kids

Sea Doos were out of control, I got T- boned on the launch ramp and I didn't even have the boat off the trailer and the pin was still in.

Sea doos are always out of control most think bc they are small they are easier to maneuver quicker. They think rules dont apply to them. Two came in the launch ramp while my boat was taking on water and bc they did donuts in the ramp area it swamped my boat and it sank and they took off like a bat out of hell

Anybody can finance a Sea Doo for 30 years and $0 down for 30% interest (insert sarcasm).

Accessibility with little to no out of pocket responsibility and commitment make it easy for the most irresponsible to own.

Lake lice drive me up the wall. In the last 15 years I've had more close calls with them than cars driving through Los Angeles. Unfortunately it's their lack of boating knowledge that will result in us responsible boaters being over regulated.

Sorry for the rant but I just had it out with a bunch of kids on the river who nearly t-boned us as we're heading up river while they're gunning it from a shore start and looking backwards at their friends on the dock. On the bright side they were apologetic and pretty tame the rest of the weekend.

I feel better now lol

We need to go south of the avi to make passes :-)

The problem is 1. Little or no experience, and 2. I was going to gas up at the Avi dock and found out they only had 87, so I pulled off to the side of the gas dock to pull some weeds out of my intake and the employee at the Avi told me I couldn't park there because he is teaching everyone how to drive and use the seadoos, obviously his teaching skills aren't affective!

. True. Not real sure but in Cali you have a speed limit around marina, parks and campgrounds on the river. Just common sense for your own safety as mentioned they have no clue on the PWC.
