Title: Paint my boat
Post by: el mojado on April 02, 2015, 05:16:43 PM
Anyone want to make some extra money? I want to get my boat psinted. I only want to paint the brown and yellow. The white will be untouched. The "wood" will be painted too. I'm thinking purple and lavender. Who here paints? Or who knows some one who can do it for a reasonable price. Not looking for show quality. Just something decent. How much!?

If you want to tow it up to Sacramento I'll do it but that's really far.

It's a 20.5 Caribbean. The gel shines up well. I'm not looking for any glass work. Just scuff the yellow and brown and spray on the new color. I want it painted. Not gel. I can't afford gel. I'm not looking for a restoration. Just want the boat looking decent. Thanks Jarvis. And all hardware will be removed

Looks pretty good. At least you didn't have to change interior scheme to match.

Thanks. I bought the used interior from Eliminator boats. It helped me decide what color to paint the hull. One seat frame needed to be rebuilt and the bench needed to be tweaked a little. I paid $200 for it. Plus the price of material to rebuild one seat frame and the boxes that go under the seats and bench. Not bad. It was a rewarding project. I learned a lot.
