So gun wise, I would like a complete three piece gun kit. And I've found a couple of the brands Aero Pro, TCP Global, or ATD. Which is the best? Or has anyone used them, all three of there kits looks identical and are dollars different (under a $100). Or is there another brand any one would recommended.

I would say those are probably good primer guns. A good paint gun is going to run around 300$ plus.  Not saying you couldn't paint with those but I wouldn't personally use them. JMO

IMHO order a Devilbiss Starting Line gun kit, they're relativity inexpensive and work quite well, should not run you more than $90 with a cleaning kit.

I have one and have used it only a few times... Honestly, I like my Husky piece of crap I got on clearance years back, I have made some modifications to it and I have become accustomed to it and have come out with some great results. The biggest thing is to clean it really really well right away.

I think I bought a box set of two guns and spent less than $40.

Sue me, I am a little redneck. 


You do not need to spend $300 unless you are planning on a career change.

They have some nice kits, I like the two gun with the dekups kit. A little more than I was hoping to spend, but you get a lot of useful stuff that I should probably buy any ways. I ordered a prepping and paint training video from dura-block, a long with 7 piece sanding block kit they have. I was looking at the guns they have online and holy cow, they are nice but expensive. I do like the quick change heads idea though.

Yeah, the gun is only as good as the painter.

This has me all kinds of thinking though, and now I can't get the idea of painting the trailer out of my head... By all means it looks sad and needs it, I'm thinking yellow... Haha

I have a small floor jack, broken my big 5 ton (got it for free from my last job). No cherry picker though... I did think about block listing it in the garage, I'd have to measure to make sure it fits.
