Color in resin?
« on: December 18, 2007, 07:03:29 PM »
The resin in my bilge is black.  I want to make it match up to the new floor I am about to install and wondered how I get it to be black.  Do I have to buy it black or can paint be added, brushed, sprayed etc on then another layer of clear?  I want to start tomorrow if the weather cooperates.  Thanks.

Hey Chaz,  Why don't you look into the black bed liner stuff?  It's looks pretty cool and suppose to be darn tough.

You can get some black tint , we've used Evercoat "coloring agent" it works pretty decent, out local hardware store carries it.
