Have a project boat, it's an extra Carrerra Elite 205 - No engine, but other than that pretty complete.
The hull if really weathered and the what appears to be in laid 7 color gel coat (maybe) is also faded and overall this exterior is worn and scratched.
Dark gray base.
So - For Example - say I wanyted to change the color of this boat to all white with blue graphics.
Lay it out for me - having never experienced this - what could I expect - i'm not doing it but someone is !
Can this be done ?, would the current inlaid colors go away ? how deep are the inlaid colors on a carrerra ?

yes the inlay colors will go away providing you k2 prime or epoxy sealer or primer then what ever color you want for a white boat i would use white epoxy primer /sealer then paint good luck 8)
