Title: swim step
Post by: muffbro on March 27, 2014, 04:19:30 AM
I'm contemplating putting something on top of my fiberglass swim steps to save my knees...... anyone ever lay wetsuit ( neoprene ) over the top of them for cushioning? and how would you attach it..... glue.    Mechanically?

any thoughts?

Hummm?
Never really thought of that, maybe give jet trim a try, they make custom mats and seat covers for water craft.

Hit up 5150whiteboy!!! There was a company that makes stuff for swim steps that was at the LA boat show this year. It's exactly what your looking for, I just can't remember the companies name right meow

I wouldn't recommend wet suit material. Sitting in the sun alone will kill it quick. I would toss a towel on there when you need to use them. You will retain the look of the step that way

There was a company at the LA boat show... And I talked to them too, but I'm drawing a total blank!

Also there is hydro turf, they have a warehouse in Anaheim.
