Over clear yes, under clear no the vinyl will eventually lift and cause the clear to lift also

This is a good friend of mine that does vinyl wraps on all types of vehicles (cars, trucks, boats, bikes...)

Here is my WR450 that we did. So far I'm impressed with how well it's holding up

cool thank y'all for the info.... anyone have vinyl on yer boat?

If mine didn't have decent original gel coat I would wrap it.
I've thought about grabing one of the cheep boats around that has good running gear and a crappy finish, wrap it and run it.

i was gonna wrap a boat that i was gonna buy, but instead i didnt buy it! Something else in the works, and it wont need a wrap...I say go for it, i believe alot of the new mastercrafts are wrapped, and i see a 377 scarab on lake mead that is wrapped, and it looks really good!
