if you're gonna do metal flake, you need a *LOT* more in it. 

ie:

What he said! I'm personally not a fan but if you're going to do it, do it right. Smaller pieces and more of it.

So smaller flake and mix in the paint or clear ? That sample is done in the paint

im no paint pro, but usually its done in a base color, ie: silver, etc.  then a metal flake.  and then buttloads of clear. 

Love the blue, however I would go a little more metallic and less chunky bass boat flake

Well got the bottom paint done going to flip it this weekend and now I can't decide on going with the same white on the bottom for the deck or go with a purl white that shimmers blue

Would you paint the whole deck just the pearl, or will there be any graphics?
Is there going to be any blue on the deck at all?

My opinion is, that I like one base coat color and have other "target" colors to accent it.
To me, it seems like you'll have just 3 different sections of color on the hull if you went with the pearl.

So stick with the bottom white all the way through ? And I'm going to have the same blue going around the deck and center white or pearl of solid white I'd have a pin striper do sum art on the deck and add a name to he and the rub rail was thinking going of silver or blue

My deck isn't going to be all blue just the rail and rest of it white
