Title: what kind of paint is best for a buget boat

im workin on a 74 miller and she needs new shine whats the best paint to use can afford gel coat

any info would be great thanks,SPARKS

If it's still original gel try color sanding before you jump into painting it.  You might be suprised how much of the original shine comes back.

its not original the swamp donkey i got it from used white spray paint and went to town on it  and i dont think i can take it off with out screwing up the paint underneath the krylon lol

If it has a rattle can paint job on it now, you will need to get rid of all the spray bomb before you paint it with real paint .

I painted my old boat with western hi-glo enamel and a harbor freight HVLP gun.  A gallon of paint was less than $100 with reducer/catalyst...it was easy to shoot and held up good.  As always, prep is key to a good paint job.

im starting prep soon with a da sander and what not whas the high glow a single stage or duel satge paint system and  where do i get it there inst to much out here where im at
