I was going to buy some clear coat and spray everything that i have polished on my boat. But then i read some about zoop seal. It says that it protects for up to 2 years with one application. Its just like a polish, has anyone tried it to verify how well it works? Because i'm thinking about going this route instead of painting it all with clear.

I have a Zoop Seal set in my shop. I was thinking of trying it too. It was a sample from SEMA. It'sa four stage process and I have a buttload of aluminum so maybe this winter or on the next flatty. Eastwood has some spray stuff too I'd like to try. Price tag on the Zoop was like $120-130.

I'll have to check there too and see what i cant find. I just dont want to be polishing every week when i get back from the lake. Our water here is dirty and makes the aluminum look like sh*t after one trip.

I hear ya bro, three days on the lake and my cav plates look a hundred years old. Between the cav plates, blower and tranny thats alot of freakin polishin not to mention all the other shit from the Batt box to the v-drive

That is why i am trying to find the easy way out on the upkeep of the polished look. I am sure ill have plenty of other things to keep me busy on the boat during the season.

Disclaimer: I have no personal experiance with Zoopseal.
But I do recall that folks that have tried it said it had a tendency to yellow after a bit. I don't know how long it takes but only that they chose to keep polishing.

Thanks, thats exactly what i wanted to know. I think i am going to go with a product from por-15 that is sprayed over polished metals, similar to a clear coat

Nordie turned me onto some new polish called Zepher Pro-40. Gotta order it online but it kicks ass
