Has anyone heard of this hull name before? I bought it about 6 months ago and haven't been able to find any info on it. No identification tags on the boat that I have found. It has a 455 olds with jacuzzi jet. Any info would be nice! Thanks

'74 should have a stamped number at the right rear corner, post the first three digits and we'll see what we can come up with for you.

Will do! Many layers of paint on this thing. I am already sanding it down for paint so I'll try and find those letters. Thanks! I'll be posting tomorrow with results

So I found the original gel coat but no numbers or tag. Should I sand farther to the middle of the boat towards the jet. This is the back bottom right hand side
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Going out on a limb and say it's likely a Glencoe. No one ever accused the DMV of being able to spell worth a Damn.
GT
Edit: that was unintentional (the poor spelling. lol).

Haha true true they sound almost the same. I'll take some more pics tomorrow might be easier to decipher.. I just want to know what it is.

Can you take a pic of the back that shows the bottom configuration.
Unique looking step there. Reminds me of Gene ???? of SKV Boats

After doing some research and finally receiving the title. I found that hin numbers were implemented in November of '72. This is a 72 from what the title says and it's an 18ft. On the title it has the vessel hull number but no matches came up with who made it..the number is 18C13372. Thanks for all the help, I posted pics if anyone has seen something like this, I'd like the info. If not oh well

Ahh my other project, before I got bit by the boat bug. Its a 31 model a. Used to be owned by Ed iskenderian of isky racing cams. My dad bought it when I was 2, it was my playpen in the garage. Iam 24 now and Iam restoring it slowly but surely.

The HIN is usually towards the upper right hand corner near where the rub rail is
-
Yea that is what I was told, I sanded the boat down to the gel boat, but no tags. The title says it's a 72, I know that anything made before November of 72 the manufacturer didn't need to include the tag. Iam going to dmv today to see if they can back log it and find the correct numbers
