Title: 75 Eliminator Bubbledeck questions

Ok so Ive been tearing apart my bubbledeck project hull and I have 2 questions for you guys.

1) The front of the hull is packed with foam.....is this necessary....and if so what do I replace it with?

2) There are a set of fins in the center of the boat(like a v drive)....not sure if these are stock or an aftermarket idea...should I keep them or ditch them?

Thanks Chris I will post some pics tonight when I get home....I have already pulled the fins out. They are rusted really bad and IF I'm going to keep them I will make a new set.
