There have been a few around the forums. Supposed to be good hulls based on the SWTD.
The most notable one I would say was owned by a guy named William that ran a nitro fuel motor and had it up to 150-ish MPH. Tom from JBP had one and liked it.
Use the search feature on here and Performance Boats. There are quite a few threads about them.

What motor are you planning to run in it?
Good luck on the build

ive read the thread about toms boat but the pics where deleted also I was told this boat ran 163 with 800 hp I'm only going to put 550-600 hp in it and I've also heard the bottom was the same as the swtd guess someone sold the mold out the back door from southwind and I was told the top is a regatta just would like to see some setups but I guess there were only a few made as the company was sued over the bottom being a swtd🤔

152 with 800hp, all the new tunnels are barely running in the 150s with 16-1800hp. That is something I would love to see pics of the motor and time slips.

just going off what I was told from the owner he has the original article but wouldn't give me it he also has two 1977 gullwing hulls sitting in his backyard never been rigged and their in perfect shape too bad he wouldn't let them go but if he decides to I'll get the first call 😊

I agree. I hear the Mach 1 tunnel is a good hull, but anything much over 100 would be a stretch with just 800 hp. Most boats are lucky to see triple digits period on 800hp.....

Should be a sweet boat though, good luck with the build!

150's is believable with a bunch... I mean A BUNCH of power... But not with 800hp... Not buying it. Perhaps he meant 105.

So apparently it was a blown motor and I'm not believing what they say the mph was I'm just looking for thoughts on how to set it up I've seen most of these are two seats and the motor is forward a lot more then my other jet boats I'm sure it's weight distribution I'm just wondering how far as there is no motor plates with this but I'm going to take my time and do a complete resto and one color gel lots of work to be done to the glass so I might have to drop it off and have that done as I'm not a pro at glass by all means

Motor placement from the transom will be directly influenced by the intended power you plan on throwing at it. Bigger power will mean moving the motor forward as compared to moderate power.
