Yeah, believe it or not, that is the mighty Pacific in the background, this boat is in southern Oregon right now.
As far as hulls, White Trash would be getting a new home, I'm trying to get some pictures of the Southwind, the sun beats me every night :banghead:
The Carrera will get the home the Southwind is in for now (the metal shop has a job right now, so the interior is in a holding pattern until next month).
I have exactly half of the money in long green, but trying to work out a swap for the rest, (may not fly)
Thanks

Oregon = no sales tax = practically free then.
Let me know if you need someone who can speak Oregonian - I'm like the real deal - a native.
Anyhoo back to your post. Thanks for stirring up the feces on the site. Alloy hulls and the whole white water mods are going to eventually give the glam/lam boats we run a big kick in the awrse.
-
Oregonian, That's funny right there. ;D
I have the lingo down solid...
My truck = rig
My boat = float
The river = crick
and no matter what you are BBQing its "meat" ;D
Literally spent every summer from 1972-1989 in Gold Beach Oregon with my grandparents....still go there every year, grandparents are both gone, so not the same...But got more friends there than here... :o
This boat was being built by the co pilot of that badass turbine powered river boat...It is the exact hull I have been wanting.
The only possible deal breakers are getting White Trash gone and the "ladies" on the engine hatch removed ;D

Id buy it just for the engine cover

Haha. I wish I could claim a splatter like that. That is a rad boat though. You would blow peoples minds if you dumped that thing in parker or blythe.
-
Long as you put a wakeboard tower on it.... and alot of horsepower.... always wanted to do that with a tin boat... ultimate sleeper ;)
-
Buy it !!! Nuff said ;D
-
As long as it's a jet boat I guess we could live with it ;D
Looks like it would be a lot of fun, and with a nice mirror polish it would draw more attention than most "hot boats"... (maybe that wouldn't be such a good thing).
Good luck
-
that thing looks bad ass, you thinking of putting your small block in it or going radical big block >:D
-
so do you use "mothers" and steel wool to clean it? :screwy:
-
I didnt know Delorean made boats ??? Bring that thing to the next hodown at the river and we can use it for a grill in the middle of the day. I'm positive it would be good for at least frying eggs!
-
i thought there was only 1 H in BOHICA Racing ???
-
Bend Over Homie Here It Comes Again? Ghetto boat made from recycled 40's ?

homie? that sounds gay as fock.
ive always known that acronym as BOHICA - 'bend over, here it comes again'
to throw 'homie' in it puts a real 'west hollywood' twist to it.

Yeah the "homie" is for all the 310 peeps. But the West Hollywood and/or Beerjet probably read it a little bit differently >:D
But seriously, what is that extra H for?
-
The dude that owns it.... >:D

They run em wherever there is water (don't even need much) Trinity River, Feather River, Sacremento River, American River, Lake Oroville, Shasta yada yada yada....That's the coolest part about em, they're very universal and more importantly no wood to rot...

Never seen one up close looks like they got some big money in them, what kind of MPH do they make.

A properly prepped tunnel with modest HP (500) will run 85-90 MPH without really breathing hard, some of the SBFX race guys are running the GMPP ZZ4 SBC and running 80+, so pretty efficient design. I have seen some very custom boats that sell for around $40-50K :screwy:
I am looking to spend less than $15K
They really work well though.
GT
-
40-50K you just could think what kind of boat you can buy with that kind money. So 15k will get you in a running one.

If a ride is all you want, come to Oregon this year, I'll see about setting up the ride of your life, last year was awsome, the racers up there are some of the coolest people ever....I don't race anymore but all my buds still do...figure on about the first weekend in June, there are a bunch of boats for sale right now, I guess the economy has people scrambling to save their houses...
BTW "Money is no object......I have none!"

Might just take you up on that I got a bunch of family in Grants Pass, try to get up there every year or so, just gotta figure out where I'll be in June :banghead:
My first ride in a Jetboat was at Hells Gate by the pro tours. My family used to stay at Indian Mary bout 7 miles up river from Galice every fourth, those aluminium boats are nuts
Just lookin at em reminds me of doing 360s in the canyon when I was 7 or so just gettin the crap scared out of ya

Growing up I went up the river (Lower Rogue) about two hundred times, I used to hang with the Boices and Court Boice was a driver of the Courts whitewater trips tour boats, good clean fun right there, also when I was smaller I was babysat by the people that owned the Mail Boats in Wedderburn, my honeymoon was at a place called Paradise Lodge which you could only get to by jetboat or small plane on the Rogue, awsome memories, I'll never forget one time we were in one of the smaller whitewater tour boats and it was like 90* up the river, so Court decided to get us all wet, so he takes the boat at about 60 miles an hour (30' aluminum jetboat with three 400 HP 460 Fords and Dominator pumps) and throws it in reverse and hammers the throttle, my freind Scott was sitting next to me and we were in the very back seat of the boat and all we heard was Court saying "Whoops", needless to say he was a little agressive with the throttle and we saw a wall of "green water" come over the deck of the boat, I think he ruined about nine cameras and the bilge pumps worked a little overtime that day... pretty funny...

Yeah I took one of those guided tours just a few years ago, still a ton of fun
I always wonder what there insurance policy must look like
I've been lookin at these quite a bit cause I'm not sure the Bahner warrants dumping a bunch of money into with the Ford and E pump and all, may just run it for this summer, we'll see
Anyways ran accross this a few minutes ago, its a pdf
outlaweagle.com/2008 Eagle Tunnel.pdf
I think you could almost get one done for 15k new if you had a healthy engine sittin around :sly:
just a thought

ty i been thinking about that too, i can get a new dcm blank hull (spectra splash) for 13,500 or an eagle that will never delam and i can beat the shit out of it

are you referring to "boice" as in the owners/designers of boice jet boats??? they are some sleek river boats. i think another company took them over or something tho...cant find them anymore. there is one for sale next door to my impound lot. anyway...i think this would be awesome to own. i have had my eye on an eagle for some time now. with the motor and pump that i already have i could buy a hull and little would be left to purchase and i would have a 90mph boat. plus the look is just killer!!!! the red boat in the picture above is what im going for. the only shity thing is eagle/outlaw boats are in canada. little bit of a drive but i guess its worth it.
keep me posted on when you come up to gold beach...i may drive down to meet ya. i used to go to gold beach with a friend when i was younger. tons of creeks and rivers that entertain the shit out of a 12 year old. the 12 noon "bomb" alarm is kinda "silent hill" creepy tho...are they still doing it every day or just when there is a beach fire?

Yep, Justin started Boice Jets a while back and ended up getting into some legal troubles and sold out, also used to hang with Joel Shepard who owned Challenger Marine, they built a pretty mean Fishing Jet.
Any idea what they're selling the boat on that lot for? Just curious, I will have an Eagle or similar someday hopefully soon. Once you drive one, everything else seems inadequate...

i think they are asking around 30,000. its super clean. i could be wrong but i think that what i read.
the company that took them over is edge marine. they put a new kick to the old style fishing boats.. check out there line up and edgemarine.com they have some bad ass boats. if i were to have a family one day and want a new style toy to fit the picture i would look there direction. but i don't plan on it thats why im thinking about heading up to Alberta Canada and looking into getting a eagle in the next year or 2. i want the river racer tunnel 21' that i would use as a pleasure boat. so whats up with the one that started this whole thread??? you end up getting it or is it still available??? its a similar design as what i want minus it has a more "rider friendly" windscreen as well as a deeper v if im correct. i prefer the hard beat the hell out of you ride...my back is already toast so there is no point on going easy now. 23 years old and i need lower back surgery
