So this is my first actual post on here. Been visiting the forum for info do a while though and post on the FB group. Right now I’m in the middle of converting to full stringers in my 73 Southwind. There was so many bad repairs and bad work I figured it was the best choice since I’m this far into it. I’d like to know what your opinions are on keeping the keel stiffener or if it’s not going to be needed once the full stringers are in. Here’s a few pics

What are your intentions with the boat? Cruiser, racer, or somewhere in between?

Just something to have fun with. Built engine, pump and a solid Hull. Something that can cruise the lakes and rivers but be able to take a beating when needed
