Title: Century Fiberglass Jet Boat?

Anyone heard of them?  I picked one up this week for cheap.  Can't find anything online about them at all though!

It's the typical jet boat hull, flat top, shallow v-hull, rounded off transom.  Transom looks really thin!  Only about 1/4 or so.  Berkeley JC pump with a diverter.  Olds 455.  Bucket seats front and facing benches behind.  Someone has capped the hull, did a decent job but nothing special.

I would strongly suggest that you relocate the fuel pump and filter from the top of your engine.

The boat needs some work, I will probably end up selling it, the wife won't let me keep 2.   :screwy:   I still have my '76 Tahiti.  I really like the look of this hull though, and the trailer if cleaned up is nicer than mine too.  The olds has a spun rod bearing from what I gathered from the guy I bought it from, fresh heads and carb though.  Apparently he got the knock of doom 2 weekends ago.  Still has the car pan on it.   :banghead:
