crack in hull
« on: July 13, 2009, 10:39:43 AM »
so i noticed my boat filling with water after driving around for awhile and i did a test on the trailer to find a crack on the bottom around the driver seat next to where the bunk it.  its about 12 to 18 inches long but doesnt look bad, im thinkin with flex it is worse then it appears.  i have everything to do fiberglass work and all, but i really want to finish the season out without ripping the floor out.  can it be done?

From my limited experience with cracks in the hull i have had no luck repairing from the outside only. It just cracks back out later on and wastes time and money on materials etc. I have a thread right now where i am in the process of fixing a pair of cracks and replacing my floor in my boat  :banghead: Its not fun and its itchy as hell
