Title: Covering where bow rail used to be...
Post by: Bwarren21 on July 30, 2013, 12:42:05 PM
Anybody have any ideas what to put in place of the rail mountings? I've seen some nice plates but have looked to no avail, thought about just filling them with something any ideas?

If all your trying to do is fill the holes , tape the bottom side of the hole and go buy a get coat repair kit, and fill them with gel coat.

I thought about that, but under the mountings stand out like a sore thumb, it's almost a totally different color, not to mention the screw holes... Is the gel coat in one of those kits clear or can you color match?

Gel coat is white!  you tint it to match your color, of your boat.
