Wich hull are you looking at? Haskell's were made in Van Nuys. My dad had a 18' bubble deck with a BBC and a panther,we were told that it was an Eliminator splash. It was a damn good boat

Mine was stiff when working it back and forth on the trailer.
Once I got it on the water and under power, it was amazing!

Yes I do have pics, and have to find them, but don't know numbers since I was very young(8/9 yrs) and Haskell's are not so much rare as the owners tend to keep them.

Well, apparently this is the only picture I have that is worth a damn. Dad bought this back in the mid/late 90's. This was by far the most reliable and pleasurable boat I remember him owning. In fact about the time I was looking to buy my first boat I came across this one on Craig's list, and tried buying it two different times, both times when I asked the seller what happened to cause him to sink the boat ( what I had heard, not in the add) an that either way it didn't matter I still wanted the boat. He stopped answering emails lol. He only
Wanted like 3 grand and told him I would buy the boat full price, still didn't matter lol.

Hi there, I purchased a 1982 17ft Haskell jet boat 2 years ago and love it. It has Chev 350 / 350hp turning a Panther pump.

I just bought what I was told is an 83 haskell race hull, in the back by the transom the hull has a step up I can't seem to fin any boats even similar in shape on any forums or image sites. Any haskell die hard guys out there that can tell me what kind of haskell I have? I am new to the jet boat world as well but have been around boating for a long time.

Rarity doesn't mean anything in the boat world.
In fact, rarity usually means not very good or desirable.
Panther is not very desirable...

Has anyone ever seen a hull like this? Since haskell boats went out of business in 1983 it's pretty hard to figure out what this thing is.... Especially because it has the step up in the rear..

Hello. New member from Massachusetts, 02-sep-2015. Came across this while searching for Haskell company info. I understand it was the Haskell brothers. Anyways my 78 Haskell, 468 BBC, Panther has this same step hull. I would appreciate any info about the boat/company/demise/history so to provide info when I enter it into shows.  --- Norm.

Are hull's  are rare but not for a bad reason depending on the year of your boat and the length.  Most stepped rear are 20' ers.  Mr. Bodnar of Bodnar boatworks in Phx AZ is quite knowledgeable.  Her is mine 90+ mph 428 fe c6  3 spd trans with casale gear box.

I have a 1980 Haskell T-Hull. Have rerigged the boat several times. Converted it to an open bow. Then replaced the cast iron heads with aluminum racing heads. Also converted the carburetor to fuel injection. Had the junk panther jet upgraded by Jet Boat Performance. Wow what a performance difference. Also have a nozzle on it to keep the cockroaches(jet skis) away.
