Title: Double Eagle
Post by: Cliffjumper on March 20, 2014, 09:17:55 PM
Anyone have info on this hull? If so any thing would help. My plan is to turn this into a water rescue rig for ski races and boat races. My ideal set up for this would be a twin berkley jet. It has a panther jet in it

Just got off the phone with the guy who made it.
He jogged quite a few memories for me.
First thing I would do it's get rid of the panther and go I/O.
Double Eagle did A LOT of tooling for many boat manufactures.
In fact, Double Eagle did the tooling for Panthers jet plug.
Anyways, for what it's worth, probably not gonna find a better laid up hull.

Thanks.  I have two plans for the drivetrain. One is the twin berk setup the other is a bravo drive with a 8.1vortec  bbc

No matter how cool a dual berk would be, I think the I/O would serve better for this boat.

And do yourself and the boat a favor and go with your I/O plans.

I hate too cut this thing up. But it looks like that's going to happen. So if any body wants to buy the trailer let me know.
