they were made in anaheim ,ca. by the sun manufacturing company.

I believe Ralph's race boat is a hornet. I'm sure he will chime in if he reads this thread.

One design of Hornet was a splash (copy) of a Liberty hull. I don't know how many different hulls Hornet had over the years.
I know very little about the Bayjet pump but believe that there are no interchangeable parts with the Berkeley pumps.
Good luck with the build.

actually, its the other way around. the hornet is the maker of the liberty and Hawaiian bottoms. liberty splashed it.
that looks like a late 60's or early 70's hull....kind of same entry/deck/transom as the tahiti/wriedt design during those years.

-
if there are no #s on the hull other than the cf #s . go to dmv and see if that is in there system. if not call and make an appointment with the chp. to # your boat. and then you have to go back to dmv to reg it.
-
so if the dmv can pull the cf #s im ok if not i have to go to chp.the last sticker it had on on it i beleave was o3 so i hope dmv has it
-
not sure bout cali but vegas we have fish and game and a cop took a look at the boat scratched his head and said "i dont know man" and i said come on sir i traded a classic car for this and he gave me a new hull number and had me go to a trophy shop and rivet a plate with the numbers for the boat checked it and gave me new reg.
that bottom is a nice one u will enjoy the ride keep it up
-
so it could end up being a problem .and thanks trying to make it as nice as possible on a very tight budget .
-
Doesn't sound like it will be a prob if it was last registered in 03, just might have to pay back fees is all 8)
-
Oh and if you have triple A, it definately will be a breeze
-
cool so triple a can do it awsome i have it cool.and i thought after 7 yrs it fell off the books and didnt have to pay back fees
-
