So ill try to keep it simple. Drill out all the old holes a size or two larger and glue in some dowels just don't drill through the bottom. Put a layer of woven mat over it and call that good. Now your stringers are "fresh" and there's no old holes to catch when your drilling and throw you off. Stabilize the trailer with jack stands so it doesnt move around and throw the rest of the process off. check the degree of your pump off the bowel and we will saw 3deg for the sake of my explanation. Your motor has to be at 3 degrees at well and go off the top of the head where the valve cover sits to make sure you have your motor at 3deg. Now move the motor up or down to get 1-2 degrees of an vertical angle on the drive line while maintaining the 3 degrees on the motor. Make sure everything is straight horizontally and bolt it down.
If you still have my number give me a call if you have any questions. That's how gt jets and Ralph brunt explained it to me when I did my challenger.
