What kind of speed are you guys getting out of yours with a mild 454/460? I have an outboard powered version, a comparison on performance would be interesting.

At 5k rpm, GPS said 72. I have another 1800 rpm til rev limiter kicks in.  As I race it I won't disclose what that is... But it scared me.  Its a 468cid with a lot of compression.  But I believe the power comes from the orange paint on the block.

So I put my eliminator liberty in Elsinore today for the 1st time and boy did I learn the hard way this boat does not turn like any boat I've ever owned I turnd around to go after my hat that caught wind and I guess I cut it to hard and spun the dam thing completely around swamp the boat and dam near sunk it gimp it back to the trailer so I could drain the water out of my Cdi box and dizzy and put her back in the water and finished my day so here I think about what happen and I've owned a few different boats and have never spun a boat out is it me or the boat ?????

I'd immediately sell the hull...to me. The only time I'm able to gain ground on the massive powered Rodgers is when turning.

Any boat will do that.
Usually becomes less common with seat time.

Did Eliminator drop a fin in it? If not do over the winter and it'll be like a totally different boat.

so I'm thinking the fact that I went from a commander mini day cruiser which would take a turn pretty good to a really light eliminator was my problem now I know lesson learned on a better note holy shit I probable gained 10 -15 mph with the same motor

Small word this is so I was on insta gram looking at boats and seen a comment about six street mafia so I ask what it represented  so in response I get a message from a new person that says he owned the boat that I just bought back in 2007 gave me the whole story and all the mods and a cool time line about the boat turns out Tom Papp among a few others jack at mpd have done some of the work on this boat and this boat has been terrorizing Blythe  for years and ended up in trucken magazine back in 2004. Talked to the guy for about an hour  said he's been to some of the performance regattas at avi back in 04  05 and and said he was one of a small group that started the Tom Papp memorial  cool dude glad I got a call from him
