Title: Mize barracuda bottom

Was lookin at a boat today and the tag said mize barracuda bottom, sacramento ca. Its a project and want to know some info on the boat before i drop the cash.
Anybody know any info on this boat or where i could find it.
Interested to know the weight and how this boat handles on a busy lake. Couldnt locate the HID or the US coast guard tag so no help there.

yea i've never heard of mize. if you can take another look at the boat check this area for the HIN and maybe snap a photo for us.

Boats 2 hrs away, so thats unlikely. I took a picture of the builders tag on the side of the boat and i will upload that within the next few days so u can read what i read.

PS. if anybody has any other recommendations for cheap heavy lake boats besides howard, hallet, spectra, schiada and tahitti let me know. Dont care if its a project either

I have a 72 mize barracuda, and i love it,and most people that see mine have never heard of it, but love it.The boat is not tough enough for rough  water, it just won't hold up. My boat is set up for racing, but i keep it on smooth water.The hull is very light around 300-400lbs. .If you are not interested in the boat please forward me the info on it, and maybe we could get another classic boat on the water. THANKS !!!
