I bought a 1976 Mr.Ed/Tarva boat last April. I'm looking for any info/history on this type of hull.

Unless you can contact someone that was actually involved with the brand, there is a good chance you won't really find any specific information.  The issue is that back in the day, there were hundreds of boat builders that would borrow molds or just copy another builders hull to make a new mold (splash) to make a few boats.  The problem now 40 years later is that many of the people that were involved have died off, and you're getting information from somebodies friend or worse the friends kid.

And then there is the next question...what would you do with this info?

"That boat was sunk in Parker in '81"  would ya get rid of it?

'That boat won the world finals in #$% racing in 1992"  Hang it up in a museum? Sell it on ebay for $1.5 mil?

"This boat is a one-of creation"     So, maybe that first one didn't work so well...

I don't get it. Why the history?

I have a boat. Its been in Havasu since 1991, til I got it in 2010.
I put a motor in it. I use it, I break it and I fix it.
Its not a top fuel boat, or a bass boat, or a deck boat, or a custom boat. Its my old boat, period. Still needs gas.

I know that they didn't make many hulls. So, I'm looking for numbers such as. How many jets, v-drive, etc. did they make.
