Title: Need help figuring out boat manufacture
Post by: Mayhem on the water on August 09, 2020, 06:09:05 AM
I just bought my first jet boat and the manufacture on the title look nothing like the pics I find on the internet. It says it's a Excailiber,  Caliber1 but looks like a Hallet. It has a 454 BBC and a Berkley jet drive and is 20.6 long. Here are some pics any info is apricitated.
Thanks Rick

The KAB does say X caliber on the USCG website. It looks like a Bahner to me. Manufacturers copied other  companies hulls all the time. They would get a hull and "splash" a mold from it and start producing there own boats.

As long as it's solid and gets you on the water, enjoy it.
It's a good looking boat. My favorite 21' hull.

I live in El Dorado Springs about 30 minutes from Stockton lake. The floor is new and it runs great now that the carb has been rebuilt and a electric fuel pump is installed. We have had it out about a dozen times this year. I always plan on being at the gas station for awhile everyone wants to look at it. And we are at the gas station a lot. We tube and knee board behind it. Thanks for the info.
