Title: Need some hull work done.
Post by: Rodbender on August 19, 2008, 11:27:21 AM
My buddy has a 86 Bahner with the stringers de-laminating and a golf ball size hole in the bottom that is spreading like a fire. It seems that Mr. Bahner was a little toasty when this thing was glassed and he missed a few layers. So after spending a Grand on gas looking for a decent donor hull and finding a bunch of floating crap, he decided to have his fixed. his plan is to have a friend reglass this thing, but I think he should have Jeff Bennett or someone with his knowledge do the work. Anyone know of a good "Bottom Fixer" in the So Cal (riverside or close) area?

B&K Boat Repair can help you out. I think they are in Bellflower.  Jeff won't do repair work (unless you offer  huge $$$), His gig is modified bottoms for racing and speed work.
