I decided to remove the hole in the splash shield. I cut an alum. slug and tigged it in. Don't mind the weld it had some contamination in it. I sanded it smooth, wet sanded then polished it. The pen tip shows where the slug is.

Lots of skill back there. It must be because of the cold winters. They have nothing to do for so many cold months they stay inside and hone their skills. ;D

Thanks for the compliments but the weld sucks. It picked up contaminants from the steel workbench it was on. Oh well I just kept going cause I knew I would grind it.
Yup the cold gives us a chance to catch up to you guys sweating your asses off all the time.... ;D

what did you use to polish your splash guard. i have on just like it but right now it looks like how you were covring up the hole and i want to make it pop and shine like yours.
