It all depends on what you want in a boat. If you're looking for a race boat, there are many other hulls that would require a lot less "work" to make fast.
If you're looking for a family hot rod, there are many other hulls that will give a better ride and a lot more room for passengers and gear.
If you're looking for an impractical, harsh riding project boat you might have found it.
From what I can see in the pictures... even if you can do all the work yourself, you'll have more money in it than it would cost you to find a more complete running boat.
That's my opinion and I own one!

I rode in Chief Keefs Hondo at the TPM ....
Not knowing the motor specifics, pump work, I will say that for a river cruiser it shit and git.
Didn't ride the best but for a 17'10" v bottom jet boat .....it rode like a 17'10" v bottom jet boat.
A more important question is how much work per dollar spent do you want to be into it.....
Keep looking.
You find one further along for not much more money.
Unless he'll take a low ball offer.
