Currently I have a really wide and heavy Tahiti. I'm looking to find something with full stringers and a lighter layup. Nothing too crazy, hopefully under $1000. I am going to swap the motor, pump and all the rigging from my Tahiti so I only need a bare hull, with or without a trailer. Preferably already setup for a Berkeley jet but thats not a deal breaker. My main requirements are a light and strong layup that can withstand up to 650 HP, (someday). If you guys could keep an eye out for me I would really appreciate it. I hope to have a new hull by the end of summer so I can put it together and be ready for next summer. Here are some pics of the barge I have now.

Yea I do like it, and I'm going to keep it for the family, but its too heavy and its only a 1/4 stringer boat. I'm looking for something lighter that will take a lot more horsepower! I want a go fast boat!

I've been thinking the same thing. From what I've read as far as an older hull goes I think Bahner leads the way. I could be wrong. But it seems like they take the least amount of HP to hit the 100 mph mark. I'm also considering a Hondo/ Cole t deck just for the leg room. I'm sure Beerjet will chime in and tell me it's just the looks I'm going for.

Speaking of bahners my buddy has a 100+ rated hull for sale very clean on matching trailer. Has the pump set up for 800hp and then he went and picked up a Daytona. Its set up for a Ford. Think he wants 5 k?
