I have swim steps on my jet boat I'm worried they might leak water through the screw holes. I thought about making a plate to add to the inside of the boat hull that way the bolts stay tighter and seal better. I was going to use 3m 4200 or 5200 around the bolt holes and on the brackets. Anyone have any better ideas or think this night work?
