I am trying to find some rub rail for an 18' Advantage bubble deck (18' Rogers Bonneville). It is the 5/8" wide with the flat back(no lip) and the rubber insert.
Does any one know of a source for this type of rub rail?

I bought my run rail from iboats.com and search rub rail. They have a lot of different styles including full kits. Comes from a manufacturer called TACO. Mine fit perfect

I don't think they will have the small stuff he is looking for? I called taco when I was looking for mine... Their is a guy here on the board that sells it on the side... Can't remember his name? But we bought the aluminum and black from him for 2 different boats... Nice guy and pretty good price... He works at a boat shop? But sells it on the side?

Yea, I talked to Scott the other day. He said he has it in black and silver, so I guess it will be black.
He said he was going to check to see if there was any one to install it, here in Vegas, but I had told him that I didn't think there was.
Also talked to Greg and he said that the company that originally manufactured it, went out of business and I guess Scott scooped it all up, so I guess he Is about the only source for it. Only in silver and black.
I talked to Advantage boats and they said they probably can't get it.

Yea Jim, I got it all worked out with Scott. He said it was 60 bucks a stick(12' length). He had black and silver only, so I am going to go with black. I actually think the black may look better than the blue that was on it.
I am just going to make a road trip to Shoemakers shop and just let them it. Scott said they could get it done in a couple of hours and I wont have to leave the boat.
Did you install your self or have them do it?

. I did mine myself pretty easy deal to do. It took two hour to install. Let me know when you come down maybe we can get together and have a beer.

Will do Jim.
The only thing that I would not be sure of, is making the bend around the nose.
How did you go about doing that? I think yours is an even sharper bend than mine.
