Post by: 19ftCheyenne on June 13, 2008, 11:20:17 AM
i have like a 2 foot piece of the aluminum railing missing on the side of my hull, it has the little black rubber strip in the middle... I live in huntington beach, costa mesa area, anybody know where i can buy a piece to fix it around here?

Sounds like you need your rub rail fixed. Just google "rub rail" or call one of the site sponsors  ;)

I bought mine from L&L marine, but it only comes in 12 foot pieces and varies from $2.50 to like $4.00 per ft.  That sh*t is more expensive than the pipe we use in the oil fields

Give Tom @ JBP a call and he can probably hook you up with a Rimnet if you dont need a full piece.  If you need a full piece, still call Tom, he'll take care of you.

He is above Santa Barbara, but if I remember right I think someone drives up that way on a weekly basis and has "ran" parts for site members!

If not there is always Brown!
