Title: Warhawk TX 19 clones ?
Post by: jetjunky101 on September 24, 2015, 06:39:24 PM
What's up .. been awhile  I was just looking for a little info on these boats .  Are they as good as the Youngblood ? I know there alot cheeper in some cases and newer.  My thinking was find one for a fair price and throw my wallet at the power plant and the pump . I found a pretty nice one for a fair price but it's a drive and don't like the paint scheme so taking that in mind also . I don't mind the work it will take to make it a nice boat and the way I want it ...I'm just looking for my Hot Rod boat and just wondering if any one knows anything about theses boats .

Thanks .

Some of the "clones" are acknowledged on the Youngblood boats website, I would personally stick to those listed but that doesn't mean others can't run good I guess. You can check there and see if the Warhawk is listed as an actual Youngblood mold type boat. I'm sure there are others who know more but that's just my .02

So would there be a hin # or plate number that I could reference with the Youngblood database?

Yeah, the first three letters of the Hin will tell you which mold or company produced it

If you feel like doing some reading...  ???

There have been a few over the years on Performance Boats Jet Boats and WFL sections.
They are mostly in the Southeastern states.

They looked nice on the internet.  ;D

What shape is it in and what's he asking. If it's a decent hull and for the right price it may be worth it. Post pics of you may.

They are very close to a Youngblood TX 19 and if it is in good shape it would be worth having.

That's the info he needed. Would suck to see someone pass on a good boat because he didn't know about it.

Cool ... thanks . I just love the looks of the TX 19 and and I'm not real picky about it having to be a true Youngblood.  I have also found in my searches that some companies are making brand new ones but I'm more of a build what I want type of guy and I like to work on my toys. Winter is coming soon so never to soon to start looking.
Thanks

Mine is a TX 19 Youngblood I have completely restored it.  Have fun it took me six months to complete it.

And just read on Youngblood's site that there is a few different builders that had the mold just went by different s/n hin#... thanks TrollerDave. .. so I'm on the hunt ..

Warhawk does come up on Youngbloods website, I'd say it's likely a good hull and get it
