Title: What kinda hull is this?
Post by: TRUCKIN_318 on July 30, 2014, 03:11:52 PM
http://shoals.craigslist.org/boa/4549408404.html (http://shoals.craigslist.org/boa/4549408404.html)

Can anybody tell me what kinda hull this is? The seller says he doesn't know a whole lot about it, but thinks it is a Youngblood Apollo? He said there is no HIN plate. Any chance anybody know what it's worth? i dont need it. I'm just browsing for a new project.

Thanks in advance

Looks rough

Needs total resto.  Has aluminum fishing boat trailer.  Lil more money u could have a running boat.

Says it has a Jetonator he should push that switch so it self destructs

From the top looks like maybe a youngblood or a southwind who knows but you should keep on browsing

Good eye mate!

The market is pretty slim out here. I was thinking, if this is a youngblood, with a berkeley pump, and a few interior accesories, it may be worth 800 bucks.

I dont have the slightest interest if it isnt a top manufacturer. The thing does look like a POS, but for the right money and if logistically , it makes sense, maybe i go check it out.

i may end up heading west at some point if i find a killer deal, that makes the drive worth it.

Could I have someone with some early hydro experience tell me exactly what my hull is?? I know its a 1970 and I know originally it was a vdrive. In 2000 it was professionally converted in socal then sold in Alabama and I got it from there. I know its pretty quick and is a hand full around the 75mph range... Any help would be appreciated. Thank you socaljetboats.com for such a great app and thank all the family for bring there for purple like me that don't know a lot and help us understand.....
