Rocker
« on: May 14, 2008, 11:01:22 PM »
I didnt want to jack the hook thread so I started this one.

My project (the 73 Eliminator) has a lot of rocker in the bottom.  Nothing under the boat is flat (curved from bow eye to transome) .  With a 4 ft straight edge from the transome it shows around 1/2" rocker  :o.  It looks like it was built like this, the bottom of the stringers are cut curved . Thay are 5" at the transome, 6" around the front of the motor, back to 5" around the back of the front seats, and about 3 1/2" at the front bulkhead.

Does any body have any idea what I should expect from a hull like this ?

Higher speeds (assuming everything else is right) and a twitchier/squirellier feeling hull.
