Wieman boats

Thinking about getting a 16' wieman. It may need new stringers and floors. Is there any good write ups on these boat with pics.so I can see what I'm getting into? I never owned a jet boat and never did stringers before but I would like to try and from what it looks like in pics, looks like it's has a full floor. Could I just do 1/4 stringers on this boat or would that ruin the value and or not be enough structure for the boat? Sorry of I'm useing wrong terminology. I got no hands on experience just been watching videos and reading online.

This is one of many threads that talk about stringer replacement. It can be a lot of work, but if you got the time and do your homework, it can be done. You could do a 1/4 stringer, but you get more hull integrity with the full.
Full stringers are more desirable, but you should be fine with 1/4 stringers up to a certain HP.

If you go to the front page of the website and use the search function, you’ll get more results about “stringer replacement”.

Ya I been doin alot of searching and reading and figured out how I'm goin to do it. Just still not sure on what type of mat and resin to use. And what other materials I need to use. But I figured I'd wait to look into it more when I got the stringers cut our and ready to mount. So it will be fresh in my head. After getting. Floor up and looking at it. It doesn't look to bad. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.
