Title: Adjustable seat rail ideas?

Looking to fab some adjustable seat mounts, any ideas, anyone make any that are low profile that will hold my heavy ass!, I'm installing two low profile glass buckets and need the seat to go to and fro  O0 about 4" but dont want them any higher, my little woman is a little woman but I am a Sasquatch!

Thought about just building her her own boat, but it would probably run better than mine :banghead:

Then I would be too damn big to get in it :mad:

I AM THE GM HERE AT A COMPANY WHERE WE MAKE SEAT BRACKETS TO PUT ANY AFTER MARKET SEAT INTO ANY CAR SO IF YOU NEED A SET OF SLIDERS LET ME KNOW.

probably should have told you it is a lightweight  drag hull (620# lay-up) that is used for F-ing off, it has 7/8" thick solid mahogany stringers that will need to be sandwiched between two rails, and need to be very low profile.

Mckenzies makes some that will work on after market beard seats that we use in our off road cars and the are very smooth and low profile. they are located in anaheim, ca call them they are very helpful.

I used an adjustable seat bracket off of a ditch witch, mainly cause I have a buddy that worked at ditch witch. It works great. To make them low profile I could have mounted some aluminum angle to the sides of the stringers, and mounted the slides to the angle so that the seat hovered just a little over the stringer. But, I didn't want to get that involved into the process. Here's a pic.
