Now that upholstery is fresh I don't want to run my same top.
Having a hard time choosing new colors for bimini. Would it look ridiculous keeping the same stripes with less pink and using a charcoal grey where the white is? The white doesn't seem to shade much and it will be the first part to get old lookin. Hope the charcoal would tie in with the dark new carpet... Wife says just get a solid blue, green or charcoal.. idk.. I want to calm it down the way I did with upholstery making it look modern and clean bit still go with outrageous gel scheme.
It goes well with gel and the old upholstery, but totally looks like dogshit with new upholstery, I'll have to snap a pic tomorrow.
Edit: fukken tapa-crap won't let me post pics.

I have always liked solid colors on the Bimini but after a lil incident and I lost mine I went with purple and ran a 20" white stripe down the middle it looks really good, although u have a couple more colors in ur boat then me so its a hard decision just don't get too crazy.

i have white piping on my interior and the bimini i bought is pure grey, i was toying with the idea of eventually having some white piping added around the edge of mine just to tie em together. but i need to lower it first. lowered bimini's look sooooo sexxx.

The lowered ones do look very nice.
I'm 6'2" and don't think I wanna stoop any lower than I already do to get from bow to stern.
Just picked up sunbrella material for bimini and new zip up case from my guy and dropped it off w my new upholstery guy.
Gonna have the same size aquamarine stripe down the center and two 4" blue stripes outside of the green. The rest is charcoal color, but really sort of a medium gray.
Sunbrella don't make pink any more, and I'm not sure why they had red in my orig bimini to begin with, there's no other red on the boat..

^^^^ hahahaha ur right, my buddy's kid was wondering around bored.

I think I wanna lower it some.
I just don't want the whole top to move forward a whole lot. The lowered biminis look sweet, but I don't wanna move brackets and leave empty holes for it.

I lowered mine and I didnt have to put any new holes or relocate any of the quick release brackets. And it looks bad ass lower.

We measured and placed, measured and placed and measured again and agin just to double and triple check where the Bimini would be in towing position to make sure it wouldn't rub on any part of the hatch. Cause when u lower it, it will bring it further onto the hatch at least in my case every boat is different, let me know if ur not to far I'll swing by give u a hand.
-
Hadn't thought of where mine sits on the hatch... Mine sits in a good spot that doesn't bind when I open the hatch, my tow cover is also built around it.
I want to lower it some cause it do look good and I'll get a bit more chade. Even if I have to make a small polished stainless block off plate for where the bracket is at now and just move it back until it looks good.

I just thought about this and it may be too late but if you make the fabric longer it stretches out the spacing on the hoops and brings it lower and when folded it would still drop in the same place.
Ooops just noticed you already picked it up

i picked up mine for fairly cheap on ebay, I think it was near ~$100 or so. its not stainless but the aluminum holds up at 70mph while towing it from the ramp to the house just fine. it was pretty damn tall when i first got it so i chopped it down a little bit.
