Title: bimini tops

I am considering buying a bimini top for the Kona.  Where is a good place to buy them and will they take the higher speeds? 
Also, if you have pics of a bimini top on your boat, please post them.

Define higher speeds. My boat probley does 55 or so and have never had a problem. Just make sure they use good stainless.

Heres a couple pics, wide open in the upper 60's not a problem. Although at speed I dont have anyone sitting in the rear jump seats, just in case it decides to fold up.

It is Stainless Steel and so are all the ends . The fukin thing is impossible to put up but when it's up , it tighter than a snare drum . Even when I'm flat footin it . $600  :banghead:

Me and my dad were doin 55 with this one up.  Was kinda surprises the boat would go that fast with the sale up and big chop, but GPS don't lie.......just the ppl holdin em ::) . This is the aluminum three bow, its way to damn tall and i was gonna chop it down but i kinda like standin up under it.

When I had it made I was going to do back to back buckets and I told the guy that (in theory) I wanted shade front to back . He said fine but when you put the bimini down its gonna rest on your scoop. I didnt care cuz when it's up , it stays up .  :screwy: I still like it the way it is . Regardless.

Hey Kona, i'm gonna be selling mine being that it is blue, not sure if thats the color ya want. I am now buying a red one to match my paint job. It looks like brand new and has the boot also. Can give ya the measurements if you or anyone else wants them.   It worked great, at 55 to 65 didnt even budge.  Mark      Should I not be offering this on this thread Brad? The measurements are 68 length and 42 height and 73 relaxed, on my boat it was screwed in at 71. Ya have about 5 to 6 inches play on the width, with width not meaning the beam of your boat but the mounting areas. The top is 2 toned with a brighter blue in the middle and a darker blue on the sides. has a small dark splotch  on the top which is not noticeable  Mark

I'm reminded of a sayin by the great philosipher, BeeranTitty that went like this....Hickory , dickory , dock , 3 mice ran up the clock , the clock struck one , and the other 2 escaped with minor injuries.....haha.....anywhoos will repost the pics tomorrow after the effects of the Bud Selects wear off.
