Forward/Reverse Knobs

What size threads or on the Shift Levers?  I need to locate a low profile one and/or make one.  The one on my boat is too tall and hits the dash.

You need a thread pitch gauge. I believe mine is a 5/16-24.

Joe would it help to "clock" it depending on the shifter most older morse arms can be moved fore and aft , the arms are pot metal and kind of tough to thread Tom
