How much? Did you get the 8' wide or 6'? Is the 20oz the way to go?

i think its one of those "i wish i wouldve got the 20oz for the extra $40..." if u got the 16oz.  the 20oz feels nice on your feet.

home depot sells a bucket of outdoor carpet adhesive thats pretty damn good stuff.  trowel it on and lay the carpet and its like a one shot deal.  i used a rolling pin to smooth out the wrinkles and make sure that its smooshed into the glue. its rubber backed.  it feels 500x better than the home depot carpet i tried to use in my last boat.

Do you have to use that type of glue or can you use the 3M spray stuff?

the 3m stuff isnt very strong, and its freaking expensive.  its like $15 for a can of the 3M 90 stuff and you'll need at least 2 to lay down a whole boat.  This stuff sticks soooo much better too...

Was just curious if it would do the trick. We have a shitload of that 3M 90 at my work was thinking of using it but if its not up to the standards it needs to be i'll use the spreadable glue.

Looks good. I used the Home Depot glue also and have no complaints.  The 3M can spray is good for car headliners but not carpet.

3M 90 is all I ever use, never had any issues, spray both surfaces and let it tack up, then apply. We used that stuff on the last four boats and the motor home.

I want to be able to remove the carpet without ruining it. The 3M crap works well for that.

My dad has an industrial glue sprayer that we used once, overkill to the third power.

Go to your nearest keyston brothers, they got the good shit they put in new boats. I put the 40oz in the schiada and it is plush. I put it on with 3m spray. Trick is to spray it parallel to the carpet so it spiderwebs out. Let it sit to dry a bit, then stick it down

Well sounds like the 20oz is the way to go. I might just give the 3M 90 a shot since its free to me. Thanks for all the advice it really helps.
