I had to redo mine because i wanted my steering moved over to the left. My seats were closer to the center of the boat instead of right up on the sides like most cruisers. Made it a pain to get stuff from under the bow. I just cut a piece of aluminum to match the shape of my dash after making a cardboard template. Then used a hole saw for the gauges. This is what i came up with. I cut out the dash but left enough so that i could bolt it down using counter sunk screws so that it would be flush. Good luck on your project.
