ok, thanks for your help with the "what is it worth" question, now i am the point that i HAVE to make a decision and i am not sure what to do, my choices are keep my current interior and just change the piping to a color that matches the boat, or buy a set of fiberglass seats, if i go with glass i am leaning towards the tweed (brads looked killer), if i go tweed i no longer think that white is a good base color just out of showing the dirt and harder to keep clean. so then what colors should i go with. i need help, i want this done before parker :banghead:, hotrod, if you read this and are boared, how about working some of your photoshop magic for me, for both cases. Thanks in advance.
i have not decided on keep or loose the backseat yet either, so i included photos both ways

Put up a pic of what you have now.
-
done :)
-
I wouldn't change a thing. At least not now, have some fun with it, run the dog piss out of it and decide what you want to do when summer's gone. If you decide to buy 'glass seats, I know a guy ;D
If you're really torn up about the piping color, go to a good upholstery supply house and get some vynil dye, that's what we did on my old seats, you can't tell that it was dyed, new piping would mean tearing your seats apart, muy dinero.

yours are the glass seats i would be buying ;D

I have to agree with Skippy. The seats you have now dont look like they need to be replaced. Save the money for boat gas. You'll need it for when you take me for ride in that beast at Parker in June ;D. Keep the back seat too. Gives you someplace to lay down when you pass out in the boat. ;D

What colors do you want on there (base color/s and piping color/s?).

That's funny. :D

i am not sure, the boat has alot of the darker blue already, the blue flames are pinstripped in a light blue, there is gray, redish, smoke and orange on the boat, not much on the orange so i was kinda thinking that for just the piping change.
-
the orange is alot brighter than the pic, it is house of kolor candy orange, the blue outline is corporate blue, as for new seats, maybe a light gray???
-
like skip said, run it now, hell its only been how many years?
-
RUN IT! you *have* to take me for a ride - just don't show my wife or I'll be buying a new boat again!
Do any upgrades or changes next december!
-
Run it, gives me time to save up for your seats...
Still working on it...

IMO, the grey is hideous on the seats. Got to stick with a white base color, not grey.

yeah, the gray has to go

Maybe the picture doesn't show a color mismatch like it does in person?? I wouldn't change anything about the seats...

Run them.........What you have done so far has been awsome, you'r ride is a work of art. And if anybody say's anything about the piping on the seats........Then they are missing the whole picture..
Besides with the amount of boats we are going to have out there, i dont think anyone will notice the piping on anyone's seats ;D
Save the duckets for beer ;D

done :)
If I were you, I would leave it alone for this year and just run it. It looks great!!! Is that piping blue or purple? I guess it doesn't really matter, your interior looks good to me.
-
the current piping is purple and there is no longer any purple on the boat
-
Im running the factory Eliminator seats I think you should do the same
-
heres a pic of mine j/k ;D
-
I like this style a lot
-
i like those as well, just not the pricetag that goes with them

After talking to you last saturday i can see that the piping is buggin the shit out of you...
I can see why you want it perfect as i would , too much hard work and money to let one little thing keep you from finishing the Boat.........
Talk to the upholstery guy get the piping changed over to the color of choice. I think blue would look killer..
and then sit back get drunk admire the boat, but dont put on any stickers while drinking ;D

Leave the purple piping and add another set of ghost flames in purple to tie it all together ;D

Well the way I see it you have no choice , buy new seats like you want, pay someone to re-upholster the new seats, and call it done. That phokin boat is a piece of art, SIK as all hell, and it will never be done until you're happy with it.
::)
I'll take the old seats off your hands and I won't even charge you for me to take them.
::)

have some one copy them why worry about money at this point >:D

gotta start worrying about it at some point >:D
thanks for the input, i talked to a friend that used to work for me, his dad does upholstery, so sat at 5:30 sat i am taking the seats over to him to see what he can do. i will 90% leave them with him, change the piping and then over the winter either build new seats or talk to stiff and get glass, ralph is right it has been 2 yrs since this boat has been on the water, i want to get it wet.............and play with the new diverter >:D watch out lake lice >:D

I gotta agree with Hotrod here, whatever is ultimately going to make you happy is the right choice. You've done fantastic job on that boat.

met with the guy last night, he shot me a price i could not refuse, so today i have all the color swatchs and will decide on a design/color and drop the seats off tuesday for complete recover
-
when will you have it all back ?
-
well before the parker trip ;D
-
good to hear to forget the pics ;)

interior guy is leaving town for 2 weeks, picking my seats back up today (not done yet), i am going to try and take the boat to the lake this weekend for its first run in over 2yrs. hopefully all goes well, then in 2wks i will drop the seats back off to him and hopefully the full interior from the new project and just get it all done at once, with forkedups seats being completed first. he assures me the seats will be done well before parker still, with the new projects being done sometime later. and i will get pics of the weekend and hopefully a video ;D
