Title: Dyno mat engine cover?
Post by: damstarr on November 09, 2012, 07:27:17 PM: Just kicking around an idea. Figure somebody here will have an answer. I'm wondering if I can dyno mat the inside of my dog house engine cover? Will it cause heating issues? Just wanted to make it a little quiter. Even though I'm thinking I'm doing a thru hull exhaust. Lol. Btw it's a 79 centurion I/O.

Shop around you will find it cheaper. I have regular dynomat under the hood of my 56. My jet hatch went crazy...Had cheapo mat first and it started to fall off. So went carpet and diamond plate.
