Title: F#ck Carpet

Ripping up some nasty ass original carpet. While listening to Sum 41 and drinking beer. Made it tolerable. Lol. So much dust, sand and disintegrating carpet underneath that my shop vac ate up.

So now I ask you badass jet boat guys.....where do you get carpet and adhesive. Definetly on a budget. And what is the best tool to cut it?

Going to scope out Amazon and see what it is up too

Artificial Sod is an one option? 3M spray adhesive? Both can be purchased at Home Depot!!!

I’m redoing carpet this month also. 

So far these guys seem the cheapest for decent reviews.

No clue on if 3m adhesive is the way to go or if the liquid adhesive is better.

Thinking of getting away from the blue carpet and going grey. My seats have a touch of grey in them so it would probably work.

Contact cement in a gallon and a brush lay the carpet out an do half at a time us a regular blade and once you spread the glue out wait a min and let it take up then lay carpet out then use a 2x4 with a rag wrapped around it and start in the middle and work your way to the sides then all the  the air bubbles should be out don't go to heavy on the glue because when you lay the carpet and use the board it will come threw the carpet and you will have a big fuckn mess and a good in door out door carpet works good cheap shit ain't good good shit ain't cheap and after all you don't need that much so don't go cheap

 3m and contacts  cement are going to dissolve and let go from the water. A better  option is  construction  adhesive or indoor outdoor carpet glue.  let the glue attack before Installing

I got some 24oz marine carpet.  Waste of money. Where I cut it on the edges it just frills and comes apart.  Never again.  I use the Home Depot stuff for the trailer bunks and should have used it for the boat but I tried to use better stuff.
Just use the Home Depot with the 3m adhesive    It will be fine

We put snaps in our new. Carpet we had the Capet rubber backed edges seamed and it snaps to the floor no glue no mess it can be unsnapped and removed

J&J auto fabrics in Railto or A1 Foam in Santa Ana. Marine grade carpet many colors to choose from. Use Contact cement, glue both surfaces let dry before making contact.
