Title: floor mount or stringer mount ?

I'm going to buy a manual place diverter and i would like to know which control would be the best to buy a floor mount controller or a stringer mount controller ?  Thanks

It depends on you and where your seat is it is more of a comfort thing

I bought a stringer and sunk it into the floor...

Hey quick question is this just plywood covered with carpet and if so how do you mount it to your stringers?

Its 3/4 ply, sealed, deck screw attached, fiber glassed, gel coated an then carpeted. Heres a link on my floor build.

I'm using a stringer mount, I'm going away from the false floor that was in it. And I built a bracket for it.

Go stinger mount...you wouldn't believe the muscle involved to put the diverter up under power...screws came out once or twice a season on a floor mount
