Good Uplostery shops in orange county

Ive been looking for some to do my boat and Ive gotten a few bids and everybody seems to want any where from 4,000 to 5,000. Does anybody know someone that can do better then that. Its a 23ft day cruiser with cubby cabin.

Whoa... slow down there, just kidding, a friend paid $800 - he built the wood frame, the upholstory guy shaped the foam, stitched it, covered it, 4K to 5K sounds really high...

Just trying to gather imformation. That price is with building seats or some wanted to just fiberglass the old ones which I didnt like that idea. The thing is when I say it has a cubby cabin, underneath the bow theres two bench seat and a headliner to do.

deerrob, there is a guy in el monte that will do a 22ft for 1500.00 w/ floor and build seats also in industry, ca. there is garzas on valley blvd he does good work too but pricey. the first guy is on peck rd and aprox bryant a little north of bryant. good luck

Whats consider pricey I don't mind spending 3000 but at estimate of 4000 to 5000 almost makes me want to sell my boat and find a different boat. Do you have the name of the business or a phone number for either of these shops.

there is a boat interior place here by my work in whittier called mikes canvas auto and marine upholstery....free estimates...562/693-1761 does interiors and boat covers allkinds of work like that....www.mikescanvas.com...i had my work awnings patched up , great job....worth a try

Being from Alabama, I've seen a lot of things done with cars, but I've never seen seats mounted there before

anyone else have a place to recommend? I may be looking at opening a bow on a 29'. Right now it's closed... I'd still keep the mid cabin. Any estimates on cost or what it takes to get this done? The boat was also offered as a midcabin -so I don't think it will be a structural problem. With some help I may do the cuts/framing and send it out for upholstery. Thanks

Stay away from mikes canvas I had him quote my boat and its not cheap and he wouldnt rebuild the seats, Heres a picture of my boat after the guy from craigs list got done with it.
