Title: Interior cleaner
Post by: speedymopars on April 02, 2009, 08:34:36 AM
After sitting all winter, being abused due to engine swaps, santa anas, etc; I need a really good cleaner for my interior to get it back into the new shape it was 12 months ago.

Are there any good seat cleaners out there? I also want to scrub the carpet - any advice?

I still think Magic Erasers work the best on interior. For the carpet.....hire a carpet cleaner ;D

The best cleaner I have used for pretty much anything (Hell it took Jaeger out of my white carpet.) Is this stuff called awesome. The only place have found it is at the dollar tree. It is a good carpet, leather, vinyl, pretty much anything cleaner. even acts as a good engine degreaser. I swear by the stuff and it's only a dollar.

I just picked up some Mr. Clean magic erasers on the way home. They are amazing. I just got my boat and it has yellow interior. We cleaned the hell out of it with upholstery cleaner and it didnt look that great. The yellow was still dirty looking. I just took the eraser to it and I cant believe how well it worked. The yellow is bright again. Now it sucks cause I have to do all the seats. They work great but better get a bunch of them cause that dont last very long. I also got the one with 2x cleaner power. I always learn something on here. I will probably do some before and after pictures.

Kind of a pain in the ass but, I use a small bucket of water with a small nylon bristle brush.
I spray it down with Tough Stuff, dip the brush in the water and scrub away.
The brush helps get down into the texture real easy and the Tough Stuff eats shit up.
Wipe away with a towel and stand back and admire how good it looks before a bunch of drunken assholes fuk it up again  :-\
